The register dot co dot uk reports that Peter Calveley challenged amazon dot com on the 1 click patent because he "[i] can have some fun here".
Well amazon aint that evil company imho but I realy dont see the invention in this and many other digital invention / intellectual property thingies.
For instance this one-click(TM) is nothing more then to apply the behaviour of a good salesperson, that recongnises a returning costumer, on client-server-applications.
Salespersons do this since hundreds of years. I bet that even the cavemen did this already; 3 clams for a deer, delivery to 3-cave way, client identifier would be the face/name.
