sorry for the lack of updates... again.. i am so lazy blogging.
here are two pic of someone just turned 29 ^^
this one is somewhat blurred... :-/
oh and we got this cam since december, my big sister did won it somewhere, nice device. samsung nv15 10.1mp.
on other news "The Day the Earth Stood Still" wasn't that great... rating: c (nice cgi though)
looking forward for that vampire movie though (rise of the lycans)
also planing on seeing slumdog millionaire, starting around march 19 at the pictures, maybe also one near you, with angela.
created a last.fm account to give that thing a try since I actually can use it at home, now.
already noticed somethings I can't stand. first thing is you can mark tracks as loved but can't listen to them unless you subscribed. guess I must add them to a play list as well (edit: playlist are also for subscribers only). the second thing is, that either I am to stupid or you have to like the whole works of an artist, that is if you mark a song as loved you also get the other stuff of her or him.
anyways if I dont trash my account it's de_markanthony
listening to a real radio station like motor.fm has several advantages over last.fm, like the dj presents you nice new tracks with you doing nothing, no clicking through a similar artist selection.
Ok I do now have broadband so I should take advantage and blog more often... well I try. Starting with the last weekends this is one of these I am so lazy and now need to sum it all up blog posts.
DIED
Yesterday one of my drives died, again. I had two IBM 60gig drives that are known to die sooner then they usually do. The other died last year, so I had no important stuff on this one, nothing that could be replaced that is. yet still it sucks >_<.
VSD
Last Saturday, 9/6/8, I have been to Dortmund and had lots of yummy vegan foodstuff on this years Veggie Street Day (VSD). Been plundering the tents mostly with Sasa and Mali. Apart from slight flaws only the sushi was not recommendable, though I had none of the TIRM's stuff (this will change this Saturday since they do the same chili con soja for the gallusviertel stadtteil fest).
ROLLERCOASTER
On 8/31/8 I was half drunk (not from alcohol but from lack of sleep) with ChaCha (or is this ShaSha...) and his sister Natascha to the Fantasia Land in Bruehl after a splendid brunch. We had a brunchette ticket and a first row ticket. Really enjoyed riding the roller coasters esp. the black mamba.
WEDDING
On 8/30/8 was ChaCha and Betti's Wedding and I was there ^^ really enjoyed it. Her wedding dress was just awesome... Well you'd better been there yourself because words can't describe. (sleep count: 3hours due to snoring roommate)
BIRTHDAY
On 8/29/8 I was at Indy's birthday party at cologne which was fun. Met nice happy vegans. We had tons of yummy stuff. To be honest there was so much we did had lots of left overs, apart from ise's casserole and
indy's homemade-bailey's cake (ok technically there was one slice left but only because we all were so stuffed even before we started with the cakes)
I made an tahini-lemon-tomato-tortellini-salad with garden tomato and parsley (note to self: add more fresh tomato next time).
(sleep count: zero hours)
got my first set of American Apparel (AA) that I will use for the wii fit from now on, its an army Fine Jersey and an army California Fleece Slim Fit Pant. why army? because I wanted a matching set. and therefor i was limited to black, white, brown, grey and army. black can be dull and white gets dirty quick. my PJ is brown. grey? no thanks. army? nothing is wrong with army, apart from being asked whether I am pro war or not at the checkout. (Just for the record: war sucks.)
On the website they have also navy... didn't noticed that at the store.... Anyhow I wonder why I did not bought something sooner from AA. they are no more expensive then other brands are. Maybe I wasn't aware of that or boh don't know.
I guess I will stock up on AA since I do like a new fleet of fine shirts for the summer.
EDIT: A friend of my sister was shocked after reading this as she thought army meant camouflage. No, its not it's a greenish brown or a brownish green.
Have a look at the AA Website, you can click on army. Though I will post some pics in september.
Berkeley:
Got myself a phantom Jack Wolfskin Berkeley backpack since I couldn't stand moaning about the lack of space my crumpler back offered.
happy so far with it.
City Journal:
Vandy@simtropolis is nearly done with the Koyama Island map I requested. Its a 24x24 csq (24.48kmX24.48km) map. A lot smaller then I originally requested but due to certain limitations we settled with this size.
I will set up pseudo web pages for the cities that can be found on this Island and there will be a CJ at simtropolis as well as roleplaying.
If you are interested in roleplaying an Assembly Person, Mayor or Special Interest group (or somebody else) feel free to get in touch with me.
Books
------
Finished reading Triple by Ken Follet two weeks ago and noticed that I didnt bloged a thing so far. I liked it and can only recommend it. Its affordable 5 Euros on paperback and is a really good thriller.
This sure would also make good as a movie.
http://www.ken-follett.com/bibliography/triple.html
Twitter
----------
I am on twitter now. Mark Anthony and Koyama where both taken so I am Mark_Anthony.
Most lack of updates on my blog is because I think mhhh this is not noteworthy for a blog entry. Twitter jumps in this gap, quite well.
I hope it doesnt eat up the few spare time I got, just like studivz (german wannabe facebook) did in its early days. But I assume not. Twitter twitters all updates directly to my inbox and not like studivz leaves a message that something had happend and lures me to log in and waste hours of clicking through each groups forum.
Finally I could pick up the Peugeot pepper-mill Evian...
well shouldn't opted for vouchers for a store that I haven't ordered something so far. Well doesn't matter anymore since they managed to deliver. yeah!
Another thing that is new to my kitchen utensil arsenal is an ice maker I got from Birgit because she fancies a different one that can make ice slightly faster and is easier to clean or something. I had chocolate ice and pineapple ice so far.
Will give lemon a try today.
Last Friday I've been to Claudia's housewarming party and catched up with some aquitances of mine.
Gosh quite a bit happend since I last meet them and nobody told me. :-(
Well apart of Ruwen which I meet twice on the way to campus but only had time for shitchat...
To few get togethers, I assume.
Ok I missed Ruwens party but this was only one or two month ago (if I recall it right) last get together was claudias birthday in may.
Was also sleepy after last week, my timetable is packed and I had not adjusted my bedtime hour.
Brought Claudia organic "aufback broetschen" and salt; and added a couple of Bionade Hollunder and a bit of Mumbay (Bombay) Saphire for the other guests and myself.
On the same day was Luminale 2008 and from her flat we could see one of the Skyscrapers with light in the upper three floors, combined with the rooftops of medium dense residental... ^^v
Claudia has some pictures on her studivz photo album; you can find her in my friends list.
kob:
did some under the hood fixes to my comment handling, somehow old code made it back on the server :-( ... and added some improvements to my CMS.
I still get plenty of spam, maybe I need to add some number that you have to copy to some field because all comments are read by me before anyone else can read them and the amount of spam is annoying.
Nippon connection:
I missed it... well sort of. Still three days remained but the movies that I picked were either the days before or no tickets were left. To bad... I should register for there newsletter so this shouldn't happen again.
Nihon at the Long night of the Museums:
Melanie B. told me that she and two of her fellow students from the Japan studies are performing Japanese music at the Deutsches Filmmuseum (20:00, 21:00, 23:00, 24:00).
http://www.nacht-der-museen.de/frankfurt/
There is also Mangamania at the Museum fuer Angewandte Kunst Frankfurt.
Love & live:
Washed my ipod nano… last month. Hoped it would be dry by now but I guess I need to exchange the battery so its not a stationary pod. *stupid me*
update February sorry for the lack of update OK hmm
what happens last February?
Caught A Cold
I caught a cold and was all sneeze and had headache. Had tea. Lots of tea. Yummy tea.
Birthday
I had birthday and got a nice set of presents. My plan was to have one big present but oh well. Melanie thought it was time for me to have a proper jacket for the more freeze days. So I got a Jack Wolfskin North Country Men. Which is really cool. I'm happy that she convinced me because when it is rainy or stormy outside with this jacket it doesn't matter. you can even only wear t-shirts (might not work in Alaska I guess). My original idea of a big present was a Peugeot Evian pepper mill as I didn't wanted that they spend so much on presents for me... Now I got both. vouchers for the mill and a good jacket. Oh and my mum added Sapphire Gin and special haircare, and Julia added a kellnermesser and a cake. I made one to but it wasn't that yummy, but my chili con soy was. images tagged my birthday 2008.
Sneak
Been with Marianne to the sneak preview at Turm Palast. Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story was on, could been worse. Hilarious Movie.
Rating: A-
Books
Finished reading Shadow Man by Cody MFadyen (one of the books I Got from Romans sister in law)
http://www.codymcfadyen.com/shadow_man.htm
totaly missed to show off the buddha nero brought me from nepal.
Om mani padme hum.
Hope you all had a good start.
Been with Andreas, Birgit and Julia to a new year party with tons of yummy foodstuff (except the lasagne, no offence) at bad duerkheim (rlp).
take care.
xx,
mark anthony
p.s.
Last year (December) I've been with Marianne and Verena to The Lord Of The Thingies at the Chaincourt Theatre. Was fun as always but a little to long towards the end.
Jujabe had a birthday party despite her wedding this week, two in a row bonus so to speak.
She had a new cake recipe that she gave a try. mhh yummy.
Um... haven’t wrote much lately >_<
Ok here comes an update … Well at least what I can still remember. So kind of short.
Been to the pictures and watched Live Free or Die Hard (Stirb langsam 4.0) with Kevin and a mate of him (can’t recall his name). Must say the computer hacking bits and how the data gets transferred to a federal installations is quite stupid. Other hacking bits were not much better… but well this is a action movie and as such it should be measured by explosion and action and … and if you use the action movie measurement this movie is a good one.
Earlier the month Julia and I had another one of Susan’s yummy recipes, dal bahji that is. Yummy but extremely hot because I left the spiciness up to Julia, well kind of. Andreas cried, he does not like it that hot.
My sister got herself a Nintendo Wii and we bowled nearly every day now. And nearly every minute I’ve been alone at home I’ve been playing The Legend Of Zelda: The Twilight Princess. I should be half through by now (or near half).
Jujabe and I planed on being luckier finding nice cloths then she was with her fiancé. So I suggested that we could have a bite at my place and then head over to the Mall. I had seen an Eggplant Pancake recipe on Susan’s blog and was eager to give it a try. Took me slightly longer than I expected but that day I was a slowpoke. As well I overdosed the spinach bit and reduced the garlic. Mhh, yummy. But I’d reduce the garlic one more time when I have them again.
Over at the Mall, we didn’t found anything nice for her. There were a few items that I’d liked but she had objections. But since we arrived quite late we could not invest as much time as she and Andreas did.
But surprise we met Sasha and his gf. I have not seen him for ages, literally. He and his girl will move together to Bonn. And his brother is going to a wedding over Pfingsten so no Pingsten lan party this year, to sad.
Been to Ruwens place last monday where Claudia had a small get-together. Got a couple of pictures that I might upload monday.
Ok duh... it costs way more time to write one summary as just post stuff right as it happens.
~ March 29 ~
Well lets start with yesterday. I helped Arnika to pack her Ford Transit that was supposed to carry all her stuff from Frankfurt to Stuttgart were she is moving to. We were just 3 helpers here at Frankfurt and so Schlomo and I had much fun with the piano.
~ March 13 ~
My mum, my sister (Melanie) and I went to the opening of the new Ikea in Frankfurt. I bought the Besta bench from my wish list and added some cushions last week. Yeah! I like ikea. Uh another thing I bought is a hungry-mans-casserole-dish or rather a casserole dish for two. Only had this huge casserole-dish before. Already used it a couple of times for the Polenta Lasagna with Portabellas and Kale, oh i love this "cheese" sauce.
~ March 7~
Really thought I already bloged about Shorts At Moonlight. *sigh* well Kevin and I went to the Unity club for the Wednesday dnb eve and Shorts At Moonlight was on our schedule before the party. Some nice short films I must admit.
~ March 6 ~
The Good German
Been with Ellen to the Good German movie at the pictures. We planed to be more but our other coworkers didn't joined in. Well as you know the Good German is in black and white and it was screened at the smallest room available at Turm Palast. The story itself is quite depressing everyone is evil, well at least sort of. I nearly laughed at the bombing-martini-glass dialog early in the movie, no martini? no party!
~ March 3 ~
the BYO-we-are-back-from-downunder-party. Oh my gosh. I had to much. But at least I sticked to sapphire gin so all was well (no headache or crap like that).
~~~February 17~~~
Been to Astrid's and Niklas' place to play Wii with Niklas and his former schoolmates. We wii played the wii sports games bowling, tennis and some golf. Had pizza in between. uh uh and we watched Kung Fu Hustle. That was fun.
~~~February 21~~~
My birthday, I am 27 now. Soooooo old *sigh*. Thought It'll be one lonesome day for it was on Aschermitwoch this year and I thought most would be away or getting back in form from the carnival season. Yet five where there, Julia and her bf Andreas, Nero and his gf Vici, and Kevin. I made mini crustless tofu quiches and cheese sauce as seen on Susans blog and rice, my sister made two salads and Julia brought a homemade cake.
My Mum gave me shampoo, sweets, coffee ; Julia and Andreas gave me a voucher for radix, uh and that cake ^^v. Earlier this week Melanie gave me a pair of converse. Too bad I did not took a photo of the longdrink she brought in the middle of the night.
On Friday, I received an Amazon package by Heike ^^ contents: ipod power adapter, Bloc Party - A Weekend In The City, which is running nonstop since.
Monday 26, Today Manu gave me a chocolate cake with m&m, she said it was planed that she and Ayse would sing me a song but since Ayse catched a cold... well, that bit got canceled. :-( to bad.
mhh well not much else happend this month, ... at least I think so.
Sylvester:
Been to Julia’s and had lots of yummy foodstuff and of my own gin, along where of course Andreas as well as Emil and Arnika.
January 7:
Gaming Night chez Arnika, with Niklas and Astrid, Julia and Andreas, Me and later Kathrin joined for cake and Skip-Bo (card game) at Arnika’s place. Uh and did I mentioned Mira the dog?
Arnika presented her Napster Music flat rate which she says rocks, well wouldn’t work for me since I would want the music for on the go on my iPod and the Coasters for display, but if you are part of the working from home crowd then you cant say anything against it I guess.
I used the chance to listed to the Lily Allen Alright Still Album which is on my Amazon wish list but I only knew 3 tracks, and the first 40ish seconds of each track… this album is definitive worth buying imho.
Was cool to catch up with Niklas since I didn’t seen him in like ages, and finally met his fiancée Astrid. Uh and Niklas, she looks a lot better in person then on your blog... you should think about replacing that picture (and of course blog more) !
Must note that we did rather chitchat then play that card game, but was fun nonetheless.
Arnika suggested that we should all visit the king pin to play pool or to bowl. Yeah! for that.
As usually on 12/25 my older sister and her bf came for tea ... uh it wasn't it was 12/24 *scratches his head* ... strange ... anyhow my mum made way to much food. Well this has tradition, but we have enough food for the next day, which isn't that bad init. Another thing is that we don't have tree or presents; usually Heike has something anyhow so we gave our mum credits for her pay as you go, something she has use for since she tends to not turn on the keypad lock. Our mum in turn spent way more and had for us all vouchers intended for the Abba music thingy at Alte Oper ... wouldn't guessed that, at the Saturday Night Fever Show she empathized the bits she disliked.
Melanie made herself a nice present, guess what I got myself she asked me, three wrong guesses later she showed me the extended Lord of the Rings box and was all Legolas, Legolas uh huh. Guess what I watched until 3ish this morning *grins*. She made a marathon with Nicole and Sven and so we made Gollum impersonations for the last uh... three days?!... Master was good to us, yes he was.
Uh the first time as I watched the LOTR I only had read the books as well as the hobbit. Now I had read the Silmarillion as well and I have to say it takes away much myth and all magic and you recognize bits that do not seem that important on first sight but all makes perfect sense when you know why they happen, why things are as they are. No spoilers here. I rather say: get yourself the books and do a marathon and see yourself. Guess re-reading would also work, but boh.
Last Saturday I went to king pin for bowling as Melanie (Nero's-sister-in-law-Melanie) had chosen it for her birthday party location. She had two lanes ready (well if they didn't messed up the reservation…) since we were 16ish, mostly couples.
I wasn't that lucky at first but the more I played the more I knocked down. Did one strike, and a couple of spares. Hurray for me. Well I sucked, yet for not having played this game ever, I didn't screwed up that badly. I think I might had played skittles once, once upon a time.
At midnight it was wishing all the best with lots of cuddle attacks.
Last Saturday I've been joined Julia baking cookies and biscuits; well... ok I've first watched Scrubs and Grey's Anatomy before I helped *shame on me*. She turned to a Cookie Monster and made toooooons of cookies. Cookie Madness. Only stopping with her butter substitute turning empty. I got two boxes full, already made one empty and only a few Zimt Sterne are left and the jam biscuits were gone first.
Afterwards I went with Nero to O25 for indie music. Yeah! That was great. It's quite a long time since I've been to O25 the last time and I wonder why. O25 rocks. Well apart from the restrooms...
Facts:
Samstag - 18.11.2006
GROSSER SAAL+ROTER SALON
KARRERA KLUB
Originally Roman, Ronan and I planned to go to Mac Ghiolla Dé last Wednesday but they have karaoke only every second week, so we went to O'Dwyer for karaoke instead but they hadn't started with karaoke the time we arrived.
They had footie on, far to loud and I couldn't care less for the game Germany vs Cyprus. So we re-re-routed to Plateau a Kicker-Billiard-Dart Bar in Frankfurt-Sachsenhausen right next to O'Dwyer's. They had sort of Indie-Rock background music and when someone requested footie they left the tele muted :-).
I had Kristallweizen and won twice against Ronan because he pocketed the black ball before it was due and as well once against some other bloke. Yeah! Hurray for me. Was fun and though I hadn't much sleep tonight I'm quite fit. Also we played against a couple, (uh dunno their names,) Roman won against him (with much luck) and they won the other game were we played two-on-two.
Been to Kevin's, since we planed Room 106/Darmstadt for last Saturday but we had two movies instead.
#1: Silent Hill
plot: uh uh, this picture is dark. religious zealots sacrifice poor little girl, which turns out to be not such a good idea.
I'm not to much into horror movies ... but it's _not_ one of those movies where the hero/heroine unloads a vast set of weaponry unto hells offspring. In return more shocking.
#2: Jackie Brown
More to my liking. But I enjoy most to all movies directed by Quentin Tarantino so far. Robert De Niro playing dauerbekifften Louis Gara is just plain awesome.
On sunday we made a tour to see the Mainzer Jecke, since 11/11 is traditionally the start of the carnival season.
last saturday was game eve chez julia.
i met emils gf, emil was there too aswell as lutz, julia and andreas too.
we played tabu, and tegrillo (or whatever, a game where you stack cards from 1 to 10)
uh, and julia made yummy lasagne.
Muffin O'Mass was my present for Roman.
He had a not so small birthday party at Hanau-Steinheim, where I met all his family, his mom, brothers aswell as Melanie his sister-in-law, aswell as some co-workers from sts.
He had many a bottle o'wiskey and one bottle of tanqueray no ten, which i found yummy but saphire is more to my liking. And we had lasagne and even one vegetarian especially made for me ^^ *yum*. and more foodstuff...
[...]
From Melanie I got a nice set of books, from which I've chosen four to borrow. Ken Follett Whiteout is on top of this stack and I'm on page onehundred something. Good book, though it is the german version of it, esp. nice contrast to To Die For that I borrowed from Elisabeth and which I finished reading uh-um dunno... quite a while ago.. anyway Whiteout (or Eisfieber) it is now. With 3 books enqueued.
been on staturday to offenbach to join victor, his gf danni and the other guys and gals there. was fun time and my sister gave me a lift home after her shift with her new sporty little car.
Been to Cologne October 13 'til 16 2006 and Kevin and I stayed with Marion which lives in Zollstock
Friday
------
Gebaeude 6, dnb party. real good music selection with live percusions (though asyncron) but way to loud, to bad i left my ear plugs at marions place. water was free ^_^v
Saturday
--------
supposed to be shoping day but we left kind of late :-(
still kevin had the chance to buy a zipper and skater boy shoes. later that day we met with friends or acquaintances of marion for happy hour to the flybar in Nippes where i had falafel, not freshmade like in berlin kreuzberg but yummy and unbelievable inexpensive. and sakura was drunk from two litle drinks, yeah! someone that can drink even less then i do.
Sunday
------
Kevin and Marion went skiing at neuss indoor ski thingie and i toured the city of cologne with sakura to take pictures. (pictures are up under my images)
In the eve' we went to kevins birth town of 300 smth and picked up pizza someplace on the road.
Monday
------
ok not realy cologne anymore but breakfast and autobahn isnt worth a own posting.
ok nearly a week ago but havent blog in a while
last friday, friday Sept 22, kevin, roman and i planned to go to ata and ivan smagghe at robert johnson but the lass at the door wouldnt let us in, saying something like "today doesnt fit". to sad. the website says nothing like green card only or closed company. totaly weird we got send away. :-(
kevin wanted to send a mail to the guys but didnt put me in cc :-/
well at least we had nice pizza and pasta at da cimino bockenheim and some drinks over at piper.
Yesterday kevin came to frankfurt to do a tour through the outdoor shops, and bought a compass.
we had pizza at da cimino and i toured them over to bockenheim, westend, nordend to bornheim. to bad that the chinese garden had already shut their doors, but they could peek through the decor in the wall. (fotos follow next week or something).
afterwards we been to the pulse at the bermuda triangle and had some cocktails and the bar lass of the piper lounge did ment it good with us.
marion and i toyed around quite infantile. and we poked each other all day. was fun. atleast imho. to bad cologne is a town far far away.
hope i can give them a better tour when they are not in hurry.
Been with Julia to mainz and did a small shoping tour and photo safari (will upload 'em tomorrow). She bought a mila (or smth) large bowl, and food stuff at alnatura. that special kind of bowl she had searched for her lil' sis' birthday did played hide and seek. she already had a look at some shopping malls around frankfurt with the same result. no bowl of that kind anywere. i mocked her by suggesting to borrow someones child and take it to one of these paint bowls yourself stores ^,^
afterwards i've met with kevin and we've been watching 'the thing from space' yeah! retro splatter from the 80ies, and 'the island' yeah! society critical and car chase / explosion, great great movie.
uh and i bought a new paperback. 'match me if you can' by susan e. phillips which is out on avon books. this is my second book by her and the first one was good to read, though i guess i'm not her core audiance ^o^.
i already read on to page 18 or something during commute. and it starts off nicely. search for her site or visit your local bookstore of trust, excerpts from chapter one are on her website under sneak peek.
last saturday viktor and his gf dani gave an housewarming party.
they have a nice aparment with 2 large rooms, the kitchen is not too small too and has enough daylight and a storage room. the homemade kitchen is quite nice too. the 3rd room is smaller but this is because the aparment used to have a frankfurter bad and the 3rd room had to give room for a proper bathroom.
the have stucco and a balcony. aswell they live central near offenbach marktplatz and HFG (art college viktor attends) which is a good thing.
there were guys and gals from mainz and around, as vitor and dani used to live there aswell as from HFG, though the hfg guys werent that talkie and had strange topics, they were smoking fags at the balkony which is a turn off too. so i was hanging out in the living room with the mainzians.
the two guys that left last were esp. nice, tina or tine and a guy something with R, darn i'm so bad in remembering names.
uh and there is yet another pils i cant drink because it gives me headache. tanenzapfen or something.
didnt blog'ed for a while so here is a short sumup of what had happend lately.
been last week to sausalitos near campus with me coworkers and made use of the happy happy-hours :-) was fun, and inexpensive.
had had cooking eve' with aysem and elisabeth chez aysem, featuring a yummy soup with hokkaido pumpkin and a spinach-nut-lasagne.
both me sisters and me mum had had birthday this month and we'd had a little get-together with foodies and stuff.
um ... might have been to the pictures but cant recall right now... may i find the tickets.
uh and while at birthdays. kevin had had his last 2X series birthday. and i'd been to mainz and we'd played beach volleyball in the dark. was fun.
anything else... boh... the sporty hoodie 'slider' look kewl over at neighborhoodies dot com.
i've catched a cold or something.
spitting yellow schleim. *sniff*
Been to Julia and her bf and had a 'berlauch'-wannabe-sausage and watched the butterfly effect on dvd. good that andreas watched it like a hundred times so we watched it in english.
such a cool movie, expected something diffrent due to ashton kutcher but was a good one nonetheless.
been to julias birthday party last friday July 14.
we were around 10 lads and gals or so including her sister and company, her bf, meltem, luzi (?!), femelle (dunno her rl-name), ...
well i cant remember names very well *sigh*
anyway i had lots of fruit salad and raspberry cake. *yum*
the tempratures are killing me. today it is over 90 degrees fahrenheit and forcast for tomorrow is 96 degrees. *sigh* well tomorrow i totaly will opt for the lines trousers and no longsleave or there is going to be a bold *wasted* in the center of the screen.
i hope for the poor lads that play footie at 9 (germany vs italy) that the temprature has droped by then...
on other news it looks like that i missed a bonus at my cellphone contract because i added 24 months last thursday which was june, and the newsletter states if i renew now (july) i'll get 100% extra time.
i am on eplus time 'n more 100 so for renewing 3 days to soon i gave away 100 * 6 = 600 minutes free airtime within the eplus network *sigh*
well i m going to call the costumer hotline when i return home, this does not sound to fair, dont you think? but i guess chances are bad :-(
Been to Gruink and her Bf last thursday. She made some nice and yummy vegan lasange and strawberries. I lost during Setler of Catan *sniff*.
umm...., dvd afterwards "super size me" was on. i recommend watching it. the table full of sugar and the bad school food is gros. we've seen on bbc too, that school kids do eat healthy food aswell and they dont get distracted that easily.
sven is right know on his way to perth australia via the united arab emirates *jealous*. he planed to stay for a year.
he has a blog to stay in touch at
blog.sven-downunder.de
i guess he will therefor stick to german.

Been to Jasmin "Dodo"'s Birthday Party last Friday.
Was fun! Though I wonder if the neighbours of Dodo enjoyed
singstar 80s for ps2 as much as we did.
the annual japanese film festival here at frankfurt is this week >_< these lazy ppl, they could have put the billboards up somewhat sooner then yesterday.
on the other hand there would have been not many students on campus to see the ads and their homepage was sure updated soon enough.
anyways if i had any apointments made they would be void now. *grins*
nippon connection will tour through europe and the states says their homepage so if you are into japanese movies have a look.
http://www.nipponconnection.de/

saturday
--------
more shoping, rather window shoping. went to the KaDeWe and Sony Center at Potsdamer Platz as well as the Hackische Hoefe.
went with ellen and jessica, two lass' from downunder to berlin lichtenberg (i think) they catched their night train and we met juergen since we've been invited to a student party at the evening.
this party turned out to be a birthday party of the roomie of juergen (climbing guy aswell as kevin). was nice also it was quite cold and it was mainly outside. but was fun anyway.
afterwards we went to the maria club that houses the tresor parties somenights. wasnt that bad, but the crowd was partly quite strange and the ventilation was nonexistent. fag smoke was all over the place. very annoying. uh and me pooor feets :-( to much walking around town, it hurts. >_<
found a sudoko booklet with 4 regular and 1 supersudoko per difficulty that jessica left (dunno if on purpose or not) at the hostel. ^_^v i love sudoko.
sunday
------
um.... kevin went indoor climbing and boldern with juergen. and karsten and i wanted breakfast. to bad B103 has just brunch, and brunch is 'til 4. and we arrived at quarter to 4. me bad. had coffee and and pie. and haloumi afterwards at and oriental fast food shope. had fresh made falafel at there on saturday aswell. the shop is called sesam and is at gneisenau street. um had one of this dried fruit things too. very yummy.
went back to the hostel just to go back the gneisenau street as falco (a relative to karsten) lives only half a block away from the station.
monday
------
had a walk before we catched our ice back to frankfurt. i bought a 12 donut box at the dunkin donut store at the zoo station. as the blokes from dtu (actualy he is from nyc and studies at boston or so, and just has a foreign semester) said that it's more tasty as back home. well the ingredients get imported premixed. they only add water and butter (not certain for the butter but something else beside water) to the mix, maybe the berlin air makes it more yummy.
i was totaly stuffed after i had 9 of em ^_^
going to berlin tomorrow 'til monday.
still not quit certain what to put on me
neighborhoodies shirt. well will order it
right after i am back from berlin.
we will go to harde edge at watergate for
sure. not sure where to the other days.
updates to come.

Yet again, after the pictures we went to the Red Cat.
Kevin and his gf left quite early but he had something the next morning. Sven, my sister and I stayed 'til the first train to Frankfurt.
We couldn't use the car since Mr. Bush caused havoc to the local traffic and there where roadblocks. But this way Sven could have a drink too.
