Kevin thought because of the holiday on Thursday it would be an ideal party day. Unfortunately he was not the only one with that idea. Many looked pretty underage or am I just getting old? >_< Well overall I would say that the club was way to full. No matter where I was standing, I was standing in an ant highway. Several party guests moved from the back to the front of the club every two minutes or something and who was on their route? Me. Seriously that is no fun. Well and I don’t start complaining about the fags. How can any logical thinking being waste their health by smoking this g-d damn cigarettes? I so can't wait for the smoking ban. Honestly, this ban is overdue. Not that we did not had any law against bringing suffering to other people that is 223 StGB, but I doubt that any law would follow my argument and prosecute a smoker for hurting somebody. Ok so much for the ranting. Back on topic, have I mentioned that the music was ok? Boh.

The planned BBQ was canceled due to the weather conditions so Claudia decided for pizza and alcohol at Ruwens place and clubbing at Club 101 afterwards.

The first bit (pizza and drinks) was all fine, (though I did not had any alcohol), but then (the second bit of the eve) we did not made it all into club 101. Not so fine I must admit... Well the door was obviously not so fond of my converse shoes and all, but I thought that would not be a problem since we had more girls than blokes in our group. Maybe I was lucky and I really did not match their crowd so the door saved me the money but I guess since we were a large group we would've had fun anyway. Well if they don't want me, nor my money that is their problem. I also have not been to the Robert Johnson since they turned me down once.

Anyhow, the girls were either eager to get in or had other friends join them there later the eve; it was Wolkenkratzer Festival (Skyscraper Festival) as well. Since we had already talked about an alternative for Club 101, yet did not found any especially since some of us (the girls) would have looked overdressed, I said that it wouldn't be a problem if just Ruwen, his friend and I split up. Ruwen was not so happy that some of them made it look like we were morons even trying to get in being dressed so badly.

So the 3 of us met Ruwens friend Hena and friends of hers on the Fressgasse and had a beer at club Voltaire. There was some hip hop event with the real jay or something but that was near over and we were officially not inside, so we did not had to pay for entry. Which is good since I am not into hip hop at all (well apart from some popular German groups like Fettes Brot, but I wouldn't count them as hip hop).

My last train nearly had an accident and was late, which freaked lots of passengers out and when it arrived it was a short train which is totally wrong since there were thousand that were to the Wolkenkratzer Festival... but somehow all made it in (at least I guess) but the train was packed.

Hope Kevin is happy now that I had this fabulous great evening (I am talking about the not getting in bit). Instead I could have had an awesome night at the Red Cat Mainz along with him. Saturday was Drum and Bass.

If I were aware of the Indie Party at the Final Destination I might have gone there. But since I never been there so far...

On Friday 12/22 I joined Nero and his Gf Vici at Keiserlei since we planed to visit Psycho Jones at MTW. Her friends were not that happy with Britpop and Indie, or with the club, dunno, they were looking forward for The Cave. >_<

We therefore relocated with the last train back to Frankfurt.

I was not that sure on how I would like it, since its been ages I attended a Friday at The Cave, but it hasn't changed that much, slightly harder, less Nirvana, but wasn't bad at all but MTW would been better.

Eva, a co-worker of mine and maybe two of her friends, as well as her bf (names unknown, she didn't introduced us), were there too. Eva and I had a short chat. They wanted to go to Clubkeller but missed their train, ... I would have walked, since Frankfurt is not that large (link follows next year googlemaps and 56k modem ...). Or maybe I would not, as Punk Friday it was, not that IndieBritPop thing. ... I got two posts on this topic here and here (mhh well not in this post but been there in between).

Vicis friends left soon, but hey, they got themselves a lift. It was roughly an hour to my first train so we stayed for a couple of songs and then I accompanied them back home to waste time, had whiskey and water to combat headache and then it was due to catch my first train back home, where I made myself a nice cup o’tea.

Conclusion: Its time for Red Cat Wednesdays sometime soon. Yeah for Psycho Jones! Especially it is time because I walk around with a Psycho Jones été badge and it isn't été anymore for quit a while. I need new badges.

After the Bowling (see last post) Nero and I went to Sachsenhausen to retry the Clubkeller which I would have given a bad mark from what I had seen on Nov 21. Nero is really liking the Clubkeller and said I should try Indie United since last Saturday (well or early Sunday if you so like) it was Indie United again not Punk-Mash-Up-Whatever as on Nov 21 when I have been there the first time.

Was quite to much Britpop and they played the Beatles as well... yet better as last time but I wouldn’t raise my grade that much up, here comes why...

Clubkeller is a small earth-hole full of smokers with a ventilation that should be better. I left earlier as I had planed because I couldn't stand the fume any longer.

On the positive side, apart from four underage or 20ish pogo-dancing sing-along-what-is-not-played blokes the crowd was nice looking and matched the indie scheme and enjoyed the eve', which is good.

Entrance is not pricy and beverage prices are lower then at O25. Yet I would rather go to O25's Karrera Club then Clubkeller.

Well arriving earlier when it is not that full or later when many already left would be another option.

Maybe I give it another try, we’ll see.

Last Saturday I've been joined Julia baking cookies and biscuits; well... ok I've first watched Scrubs and Grey's Anatomy before I helped *shame on me*. She turned to a Cookie Monster and made toooooons of cookies. Cookie Madness. Only stopping with her butter substitute turning empty. I got two boxes full, already made one empty and only a few Zimt Sterne are left and the jam biscuits were gone first.

Afterwards I went with Nero to O25 for indie music. Yeah! That was great. It's quite a long time since I've been to O25 the last time and I wonder why. O25 rocks. Well apart from the restrooms...

Been with kevin to room 106 to there monthly drum and bass party last friday. was great!

we as well got some promo cds that dressed up as old 5''1/4 floppy discs.

the club itself is nice with a small dancing area, expandable, 2 bars and one chilout area were some psychadelic light could be found.

Been with kevin once more to unity frankfurts dnb wednesday but wasnt as fun as last time. dj gunfire couldnt decide what flavour to play so he did play to much planars (dunno if that is the proper word) imho.

first timer for me, but i wonder why. the unity is a nice small club, beautiful ambient and not pricy.

was a good timer! realy enjoyed it.
the mc was over average. and one of the two djs played lots of remixes so kewl.
